Food was good and service friendly. Not being able to simply sign in for Covid was an issue. It's not really the place for a romantic dinner, but good for a casual, authentic Mexican meal. Very strange it's open for breakfast & dinner, but not lunch!!?

Best real Mexican food We have had for years. Absolutely fantastic, second to none. Great staff and the owner is a gem. If you’re in Phillip Island don’t leave without a visit to Sombreros.
Very friendly service, staff were helpful. The Margaritas were amazing. The food was plentiful, fresh and authentic. Their desserts were refreshing and I recommend the coffee.

Visited the restaurant on 3rd February, 2021 for my daughters 18th birthday. When booking, I mentioned it was her birthday but didn't pay attention to it. When we got to the restaurant for dinner, I was pleasantly surprised that they had set up a birthday table for us, provided her with a complimentary cocktail and a birthday cake. The service was absolutely out of this world. Staff were friendly and nothing was too hard. To top it all off, the food was brilliant. I had the Burrito Bowl which was delicious and plentiful. Finished it off with the Cinnamon Nachos with ice cream. If you haven't had this dessert before, you have to try it. Over all, as a family we left the restaurant very happy, well fed and grateful for the attention to detail for the birthday. Highly recommended and next time we are in Phillip Island, we will be sure to visit again. Thank you all.
Service was great, the staff were so friendly, and the food OMG, great authentic Mexican food. I had the loaded up Nachos, with the shredded beef, Yum & the wife had the El combination, best ever. Sambreros did not disappoint, as well the wife had the frozen lemon margarita, this was the best. Highly recommend to come here and eat, may need to book though, this place gets busy.
As a family we had a lovely dinner and the food was great the kids dinners where great (fish & chips, beef burrito) and we loved combo fajitas and the prawn scallop burrito bowl. The drinks where good too
Food was delicious and freshly prepared. Staff were great and we liked the selection of hot sauces. Definitely recommend!
