Even in the flooding rain, no power, no reception. We were warm, had BBQ, water n bathroom with a generator. Beautiful area. Peaceful.

We just stayed for the weekend. The kids loved the trampoline. The breakfast hamper was perfect. Comfy and clean. The farm tour was great and the young man that took us on it very friendly and patient with the kids. We loved our stay, would highly recommend. Lovely touches and home made muesli delicious.

Lovely place - we stayed at the croft cottage and it was better than the photos. Lovely old school charm done with style.

We had a such a wonderful time at Telegraph Retreat! The location is secluded, the cottages are very private with a hot tub and fireplace making it the perfect winter getaway! Our welcome hamper was filled with a delicious make-your-own breakfast and other local goodies. There was also fresh (still warm!) sourdough delivered to our doorstep on our first morning. To top off the weekend were two baby goats (one was two days old and the other was born while we were there!) Other animals included donkeys, a cow, older goats, ducks, chickens and the resident doggos - all of which don't mind a feed and/or a pat! Highly recommended!! Thanks a bunch to Melanie and her family

Lovely little cottage, tastefully decorated and nice and clean. Comes with a fridge full of breakfast with freshly baked bread delivered in the morning.

This is a magnificent experience. Not only do you get to enjoy your own private cabin with an outdoor spa and all the beautiful furnishings, but the hosts have thought of every small detail to give you an incredible stay. This includes gourmet treats for the evening and an amazing breakfast hamper for the morning (inc. Freshly baked bread). An absolutely incredible stay.

We stayed here for two nights with two small children. The grounds, cabin and hospitality is amazing. Fresh home baked bread on our doorstep blew us away! Firewood was always freshly stocked for us and the room was stocked with really nice food from the area or from the farm itself. The ground are lovely to walk around and we had a grea tour from one of the kids feeding the animals. Really close to the main highway if you're travelling north or south and well worth a stop in on your way!
