After an absence from Coolangatta of over 10 years we returned last week & happily found this former favourite Indian restaurant still operating, albeit at a new location. We love our Indian cuisine, and probably have it 3-4 times a month. We always compare what we have with the Shah Jahan as we always thought that it was the best. We read some negative reviews prior to dining but they were never going to deter us, and luckily so, as we had an absolutely fantastic meal, made up of 3-4 shared dishes. I accept that bad experiences may happen from time to time, but for us we have never had one at this restaurant, and that was the case this time again.

Fantastic food, very tasty and fresh. Great atmosphere, great prices. The staff were very lovely and we enjoyed our dinner very much. Highly recommend visiting Shan-Jahan for beautiful traditional Indian food.
It was soo good and delicious food specially handi lamb, and chicken biriyani . Service is good with pleasant smile ....
Easy to walk past, but well worth a 2nd look this authentic Indian Restaurant has fantastic curries and naans, has been winning awards for over 18years and still as good today as it was way back then.
