Stumbled across this little gem by accident thinking it was just another cafe in Coogee with cafe quality food, wrong. Exceptional restaurant quality food with a great outdoor ambiance matched by a great coffee. Great friendly service and clean healthy eating!

Cute little coffee shop/cafe on Arden Street opposite Coogee beach and next door to the McDonalds. We sat outside on a warm autumn Saturday morning (before the Age of Corona killed outdoor dining), and ordered coffees and avocado on toast to share. Decent coffee and nice, creamy avo on crispy toast. Friendly and polite service from our pretty waitress in a denim skirt. A perfect breakfast. The serving was a bit small, and we mentioned that to the waitress, so to mollify us, she gave us a piece of moist poppyseed cake, on the house, to share. What a nice touch that was and we left feeling content and satisfied. There’s inside and outside seating and public toilets across the road. Parking is always a bit of a problem around here, if you’re game enough to drive. We walked from a friend’s place on nearby Dolphin Street. Stevie and Marli is a pleasant place to enjoy a coffee or a light breakfast, while soaking up the cool and relaxed ambience of Coogee beach.

A new cafe located down on the main esplanade of Coogee. A bright open space with a few small tables to dine in along the wall space and also alfresco. Opened up by some of the Titans fitness guys, the cafe menu boasts a health based focus, in particular their bone broths; beef, chicken and some with noodles. They also have a vegan granola, turmeric omelette and a hot smoked salmon brekkie with eggs. I ordered the gluten free granola with maple syrup, nuts, fresh fruit, your choice of milk and yoghurt. It was a wonderful porridge. I would definitely order this again. Their lunch menu offers salads, proteins and super sides (like brown rice, sweet potato, quinoa to name a few). If you order a salad protein side, it will set you back 25. Drink wise, they have protein shakes, juices, tea and double roasters coffee. The cafe has friendly service and take pride in what they are putting on the table. I really like the cafe but the only drawback is that it’s more expensive than most cafes. They do have generous serves and organic and healthy foot which could be contributing factors

Great coffee, the barista was lovely. But when I asked for a piccolo latte I was ‘corrected’ to confirm if I wanted a ‘piccolo’ or a ‘latte’, she was quite insistent (and rude) even though I repeated myself three times. I’m a trained barista ;). Not here to order a flute, thank you :)
