Wasted 40 hours in emergency waiting for a bed because they were too “efficient” to bother stopping me being a “black flag” patient or to transfer me somewhere better. Why would any competent hospital refuse to transfer a fairly easy medical problem if they know it’s a 40 hour wait? Because cared more about getting money than about wasting a bed in emergency for two days straight.

Always received friendly, respectful, caring and compassionate quality service and care. Nurses very nice and really enjoy their work with a smile. Always had positive experiences.
Had to go to Concord Hospital today so my husband could have blood and urine tests done . The whole thing was seemless. Had our temperatures taken at the entry. Not very long to wait for the tests to be done. Even parking on a side street was easy to find and a short walk to the Hospital. All in all a good experience for us . Well done to all the staff .
Very bad experience I ever had.. You need to pay for almost 300 just for registration. And not only that. You still need to wait for three hours just for the medical consultation ( even not a big queue), and then they not gonna assist you right away, you have to wait again after the consultation for more than an hour to get small check. Also all is done by nurses instead of the proper doctor. So wasted money and my time.. Do not come here if you don't want to regret it.. Government should close down this hospital..
This Hospital one of the Nurse in level 5 so rude at me told me that I can't enter for 3 people because of covid 19 screaming at me said that I must go away. That nurse freaking my little girl she cried she made threat to call the security I told her I don't even forced to enter I do not screaming at you I do nothing she is so bossy. the fact is I saw other member family 5 of them visit other pantient she doesn't stop to enter the building what is that mean that the kind of discrimination. I told her only you can so rude other nurse in this hospital very kind respectful hard working. If I am not allowed to come enter this hospital why the main enter can't stop us she told me because of the policy and procedure I told her so why can't we get stop from down stairs before enter this building hospital.
I told them about my symptoms and others. But one of them used to difficult medical word and ignored. They are so rude. I’m foreigner. How can I know this medical system? I use first time. Nobody explain this situation. So I try to ask someone but she said ‘I’m not your nurse, find your nurse’. How do I do?
My partner was going through a surgery here at Concord and it was my first time hospital experience in Syd. The staff here all expected you to be a pro in this building as no one clearly instructed you what to do. The aftercare is a disaster. No feedback from doctors yet, only some rude and impatient nurses.My partner was literally waken up by the chatting noise form nurses (yes, like having a party). Reception is the only exception as they are generally warm and kind. But still, dont come here if you have another choice.
Ended up in emergency because of 3am chest pain, possible side effects to AstraZeneca vax! Testing and discussions with nurses and Drs was consistently professional, empathic and kind. Well done Concord Hospital Emergency Dept!
