Rough day for the guys over there because there was a premier today but they handled it really good, nice job

I wanted to support a local cinema instead of Hoyts so booked online (20 per ticket). Upon arriving I was very sad to see the state that the cinema has gotten to - it’s probably illegal for it to stay open. It was raining when we went and the smell of mould and mildew (cinema 2) was overpowering. I went to the bathroom - there were no signs saying ‘closed’ or anything - but see the attached photos. I had to go to the women’s - but the lights didn’t work and the window was broken (see final photo). We had to request a refund before the movie started because the mould was giving my wife a headache. The woman behind the front desk nodding knowingly when I mentioned the mould and said ‘fair enough’ as she processed the refund. She was very helpful - but it’s so sad that the place has come to this :(
WEDNESDAY NIGHT TOOK MY GORGEOUS GIRL TO THE FLICKS AND WE HAD THE WHOLE CINEMA TO OURSELVES....SO ROMANTIC!! SHE REALLY DIGS ME NOW!! THANKS UNITED CINEMAS...WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!
We went last night after not having gone there for a couple years. Our experience was horrible. Our tickets and a small combo of cold popcorn and a drink was 42.50. They are selling tickets that are the same price as nicer cinemas like Hoyts but are lacking any decent quality. The cinema was freezing and the aircon was blasting on a cold rainy night. There is not even cupholders in the cinema 2. The screen was very far away as there was a random stage in front of the screen. The chairs were really uncomfortable and I had lower back pain after the movie had finished. I have never written a bad review before in my life but my experience was so terrible I feel compelled. It is safe to say I will not be returning.
A unique old world, art deco style cinema, screening fine films. In need of some refurbishment, though.
Not good at all... I don't mind that the place is old, it has a nice old style cinema feeling, but it was pretty dirty and the movie started 50 minutes late which made my kids really impatient and ruined the movie.
k, so look. It's kinda sick how its old fashioned, but Roy needs to remember that this is a piece of history!!!! it would be SO MUCH BETTER if he could keep it up to date and just keep it well maintained, its really sad to see this cinema breaking down. I hope that Roy and his Team will listen to this and Make changes like they did at Warriewood to improve the overall experience and gain more customers.. ALSO CAN YOU PLEASE SHOW MORE MOVIES YOU LEGIT SHOW LIKE 5 MOVIES IM HONESTLY TIRED OF WATCHING JOJO RABBIT FOR THE LAST 8 MONTHS
