I love the RSL here in cockatoo it's an awesome place for cheap drinks and to meet friendly people. The staff are super friendly and helpful and it's an awesome way to support those that have fought for this awesome country we call Australia I call this my local. There's also a pool table and a smokers area and lots of competitions throughout each month which are heaps of fun Open Friday Saturday and Sunday
Great people - real people that want to make a difference. Came in as a stranger, left as a friend. Good food, good drinks but best is the family feeling!
Very small sub-branch. Does have a QF 25-pdr in front yard from the original 1975 distribution to clubs. Details of piece: MkII Barrel No.L/27229 Jacket No.L/6749 B/R No.L/6749 1942 CSR/Ruwolt/MO on MkI/L/ carriage of unknown manufacture (plates missing). Unfortunately quite a lot of attachments to the piece have been stripped over the years, but this is still an interesting artillery display as many identifiers are visible.
