I have been a recipient of star services for about ten years. I have held them in high regard up until late 2020. I have found it necessary to report them twice this year. The first time was mid February. I called twice and lodged an on line form with them. After two weeks I contacted the Aged Care Complaints and within three hours they made contact. On 24th Feb it was necessary for me to contact star again. I followed the instructions as per the letter accompanying my statements. The staff member was in a meeting. I explained my issue and was advised I would get a return call. Monday 1st March, still no call, so I made my second complaint.

Geez, one employee was so aggressive at the shop. Fancy doing that in uniform. Swearing and carryong on. I would never use this service just pending what I saw and how this lady treated a staff member at local shop.

Called in tears desperate need a advocate to help me through a very abusive care provider. The day before they cancelled advised me called to a emergency and advised fully booked out earliest next appoint in 6 days time at 9 am. I waited and waited no one came, I called at about 9.45am, and was told she is in a meeting none wrote this appointment in her diary. ,!!!. I called to make a complaint and was told they are just a call centre person will forward it.......never did.....never heard from them again. What a heartless inhuman group of people. I needed help, I didn’t deserve this.

Never required Star Service, however I was centimeters from being run off the road and involved in a multi-car pile up due to the incompetence of a Star driver. The Star car was full of elderly clients. Very concerning.
