Microwaved precooked dumplings filled with food colouring. Beef noodles saltier than the ocean. PEOPLE, PLEASE avoid this place at all cost!

Delicious dumplings and wonton! Can get really busy and naturally slow service during peak dinner times..
Me and two friends met up last week and decided to choose Hong Kong Diner for some dumplings. Out of all the options on Spice Alley, we made the most awful decision of our lives. Please, please, please avoid the rainbow dumplings at all cost. Two of the three of us had the rainbow dumplings and we have never been so ill to this day- PURE food poisoning. I felt like I was gonna die.
Fresh dumplings made on demand by the most lovely cook. Great service and hospitality. Tasty pork buns, vegetarian dumplings and har gow. Looking forward to going back.
Shrimp and chive dumplings were a hit with the kiddo. Wants to go back there again.
I had a very upset experience about its service. I have to say that I am a noodle lover and both my husband and I visited Spice Alley two weeks ago to try the Asian Street food we saw on Facebook. We were told by other customers that new menu just launched today and it made us extremely excited, we ordered the beef tossed noodle from Hong Kong dinner. It was so yummy. So we invited my family to come with us again the next day, unfortunately. ended up with a very upset family day. We ordered the same beef tossed noodle, but we were given one without any sauce, it’s completely tasteless, not as the same standard as we had last time. I explained to the waitstuff there might be sauce missing for this dish and the lady pointed at the dish and yelled at us “this is the one you ordered, this is the one........” I was very shocked, she was so rude, I can’t put into words what I suffered. OMG, she’s the worst one I have even seen in my life. She’s destroying Spice Alley’s image and brand. The only thing made me calm down was a very friendly Spice Alley staff (Yan or Yon, shown by name badge, I couldn’t remember) offered us a small treat and patiently listened to what we suffered. We will still come back to Spice Alley for sure but not Hong Kong Dinner any more if that lady still works there.
Slowest cook times ever, expect to wait at least 15 minutes for basic pan fried dumplings EVEN at a quiet time
I was happy with the Pork Buns, Pork Dumplings and the Vegetable Spring Rolls. Great service too!
