Martine is so kind & really knows what she is talking about. She treated my little canary with the same love & care you would expect towards a cockatoo :)

Dr Patrick is the kindest veterinarian I have met. He went above and beyond to help us, and contacted me after hours with an update. They are very fairly priced. Highly recommend.

Ive been taking my birds to BBV for over 12 years, you wont find a better avian vet in Brisbane. Adrian has always been able to diagnose my cockatoo's problems when other vets couldnt. I owe my pet's good health and prolonged life to BBV.

Patrick saved my bird Chirpy from his foot possibly being amputated due to some nasty fibers caught around his leg. Extremely reasonably priced for the surgery and very good handling of a very difficult and cheeky bird. Thank you from me and Chirpy Pat and Brisbane Bird Vet for the good service, will be back and recommend

I recently lost my lovebird, but the staff at Brisbane Bird Vet helped me ensure that he lived a happy life until his untimely death. I continue to admire the genuine love and concern that they have for the animals in their care, and unhesitatingly recommend their services.

We weren't able to use our regular avian vet on a Friday as they were unavailable so chose to take our egg bound bird to the Brisbane Bird Vet. The vet explained to me the steps they would take to get the egg out. If Plan A failed they would go to Plan B, but would ring me before commencing. We got no updates on her condition so assumed she had passed the egg. We never got a phone call until 2 days after I had dropped her off to say she had passed away. She was still egg-bound when she died, seems they were prepared to leave her egg-bound until Monday which in 3 days later! Is it normal to leave a bird egg-bound this long? I don't think so! Plan A hadn't worked and Plan B was never put into action, which maybe could have saved her. If they weren't willing to do a manual extraction of the egg, I should have been notified and maybe I could have found another vet who was willing to do it! Update: When did Martine decide surgery wasn't possible? I was NEVER told surgery was not an option in her state! My review above is what happened. I was never updated on her condition! If surgery was not an option why wasn't I informed? If the egg can't be removed there can only be one outcome. Very poor communication. We were expecting a phone call is Snowy was in bad shape. We weren't updated so we think she's okay.

I saw Dr Martine for care regarding my pineapple conure and I could not recommend her enough. Martine is new to the practice as of early this year but her expertise and bedside manner is truly perfected; you would think she was apart of the furniture! The team here are incredible and I could never trust a vet clinic like I do this one. For anyone saying its expensive, thats the cost of having a vet who is going to treat your pet like their own and go above and beyond even during a standard check up.
