Marzena at Alterations by Marzena demonstrated her expertise and passion in altering my second-hand wedding dress. This included reducing the length, adding a bustle and fixing a clasp. She made me feel comfortable, answered all of my questions and gave tips on dress cleaning, embellishments, petticoat and veil length. Marzena, your store is lovely, you are so talented and everyone said my dress looked perfect - Thank you so much!
My daughter and mother went to this business to get a quote for alterations to a wedding dress she had just brought from a well known bridal shop. The issue I have is that my daughter was told she was to fat for the dress. The word fat should never be used as it is defamatory and caused great stress to my daughter. Note my daughter fits in clothes size 10 - 12. Very unprofessional. I can only guess what the after sales service is like.

Everything about Alterations by Marzena was very professional. They have spacious curtained places for changing, that even include shoe horns. But I'm most impressed by their quality. I wanted a perfect job for hemming my wedding pants, and knew it was tricky because the shiny material requires perfect thread tension to make the stitching invisible. I included a photo to show their amazing work. Well done. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. Note, the hem is shorter because I'd already cut off a bit too much of the material before taking it to them.
Paid 440 to alter a dress and the dress did not fit in the end. She showed no sympathy to a crying bride and refused to try and make things better. Horrible place and horrible business. Also has an excessive surcharge for debit cards which I'm sure is illegal and definitely shady af.
