I have been seeing Dr Chen for over 5 years for herbal remedies as well as acupuncture and cupping. His treatment plans have been highly effective for me. He's always been extremely professional and has great attention to detail. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their general wellbeing through TCM.

I am a very satisfied client. I went from walking basically zero steps to 10,000 steps a day after only a few visits. The combination of acupuncture, acupuncture with electrical stimulation and herbal remedies really does the job. It gave great relief for my Trigeminal neuralgia condition. The shop looks like a scene from a Diagon Alley in a Harry Potter movie with shelves and shelves of magical looking herbs and fungi staffed by a lovely lady who works tirelessly all day measuring out the medicines. I recommend this clinic in the highest possible terms.

I have been seeing Joe for the last 10 years. I have a very good GP but I always believe in traditional Chinese medicine and both Chinese and western medicine are complementing each other. Joe is a highly regarded, experienced and a well qualified TCM doctor. He listens and treats patients attentively. He had treated my ailments in many aspects over the years from pre and post operations health conditions, flu treatment, menopausal related issues. I experienced improvement and help in my recovery. I truly give trust to Joe as my TCM doctor.
We have been to many Chinese doctors and we have found Dr Chan to be a good modern Chinese doctor. He not only applies Chinese medical methods, but also incorporates Western medical ideas. This really gave us a sense of assurance that he is a well balanced doctor. Janet who works at the clinic is really helpful and caring, she is very detailed and knowledgeable on what is best to eat and drink with the prescribed medicine.
I have known Dr Chan for almost 8 years and as a patient, I feel very lucky to have him as my doctor. He has been very caring by trying his best to explain my health situation to me in the most informative but simplest way via charts and to explain patiently what medicine and treatment he will provide, and even occasionally would follow up on my progress which has definitely enhances my confident level and transparency on my progress throughout the treatment. I’m also very impressed with Dr Chan’s acupuncture, he always try every possible way to help to speed up my recovery and would never prolong the treatment like some specialists would. In terms of the herbal tea treatment, I would have to mention Janet who has always been very professional and knowledgeable as she is a very caring lady who really care about her patients. She never hesitates to answer your questions and would provide good quality of medicine for each treatment. Only one thing I would recommend is for Dr Chan to provide some common health care recipes to his patients to help to improve our general health condition.

I’ve met many Chinese doctors over the years and Dr. Joe Chan is definitely one of the best I’ve met. I’ve been seeing him for many years now and he’s really helped me control my skin allergy. He’s very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Janet at the front counter is the same. I always enjoy chatting with her when I visit and she’s able to offer some great advice on many things such as what to eat / drink and how I can look after myself better. At the beginning of my pregnancy (during the critical time), they would both call / text me to check how I’m doing and make sure I’m ok. This just shows how much they care about their customers and that they’d go above and beyond for them. I highly recommend Wellbalance to anyone!
