Nice Cafe for a quick or leisurely meal. The cake counter has a wide selection of cakes to choose from. The cakes are delicious! There is an offer of a cake with coffee or tea. Main meals are also available. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good service.

Avoid! We ordered coffee and were stunned to find out they charge 9 for a banana bread. That is just wrong. As soon as we finished our coffee, the wait staff came and gave us the bill. 15 min later, she came and asked "have you paid the bill yet? We need this table". I looked around and there were plenty of empty tables all around. To this date, this cafe takes the crown jewel for the worst cafe experience I have ever had, anywhere in the world. And I don't say that lightly. All I can say to the greedy owner: "Shame on you".

Great good great customer service. I ordered the eggs Benedict and a peach iced tea. The food was delicious and I love my hollandaise sauce All flowing in my toast and was offered a little plate with some. My peach ice tea was delicious wish there were no fruits in it as you don’t get to eat them on the sad note. The place is beautiful and decor is amazing. A great place for brunch or tea.

We had breakfast (scrambled egg with lobster), which was absolutely delicious! We later came back for lunch because we were so impressed with the place and the foods it offered. The staff are so friendly and easy to relate to. We highly recommend this fun food cafe.

Have been to this place a few times while on shopping trips in Chatswood chase and it's always great. The staff are always so friendly and attentive. I usually go for a scone but the other food looks good too.

Sugar n spice is located in the Chatswood Chase Sydney which is the mall I frequent weekly. I've passed the cafe every week as I park on the same level each week so finally I got to try it after passing by for more than six months. The cafe always have a nice vibe and the tables are always occupied outside so it seems decent enough. I wasn't too put off by its 4 rating which suggests that it may be a hit and miss. It's located at the entrance of the ground floor car park. Sugar and spice does allow AMEX payment although the large latte is ridiculously expensive at 4.80 that I may as well got a surcharge. I ordered the large latte. Unfortunately it didn't present well immediately, with the art upside down which shouldn't really happen when you make coffee all day. It was a very bubbly looking latte too. The art/foam degradation test was just a pass as it only survived until 1/2 through when lattes should survive until 3/4 min. The art/foam is an important part of the dine in experience, without it the coffee was more bitter and not as good. Not only was the coffee expensive, but so was every damn thing on the menu. They do not offer anything between 10-15. This is a bit of a mistake in such a suburb with so many cheaper option. Overall, I'll take a short walk to Neridah coffee which is cheaper and make better coffee. The high price also means I won't be giving this place another chance for this review.
