Disappointed! This place has gotten a lot worse. The bamboo was very old. The egg was over cooked, the yolk was fully cooked. The meat was the worst! It’s very very very chewy. I couldn’t chew through it at all. 22 for this is not worth it, way overpriced.

I had heard amazing things about Ippudo. So rocked up to eat in, and saw lots of space on the tables free. We (3 people) waited next in line, however, the person looking after the tables did not acknowledge us at all. After about 20 minutes of zero acknowledgment, I politely asked how long the wait would be (while I looked at the empty table), and she told me she was about to begin cleaning in and to wait while rudely putting her hand up at me. So we decided to leave, as it still was not clear how much longer the wait would be. This is the first time I’ve posted a review based solely on customer service, but I absolutely will not be returning here for this reason alone.
It was their 10 ramen day and it was busy! There was only one worker on the floor and 3-4 chefs. Eventually one chef came out to help with service. I waited and waited...eventually had to flag them down. Had the bonito tonkotsu, not bad. Had to wait and wait to pay as well. 2 stars for their slow and unattentive service.

One of the famous Japanese Ramen chains, but I prefer their buns than ramen. Great choice for a quick bite. Kids friendly, and a variety of food in the kids meal set, as shown in picture a cup of OJ. N they are usually busy at lunch time.
Tasty, authentic, worth the wait in line, decent value for money and a solid rainy day feed.
Pricy raman and slow service. You can find a better Japanese ramen place with better taste at Chatswood: Manpuku, Makanai and Hakayamon.
