Been twice now. Premium original pancake highly recommended with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Soft and sweetness just right.

One of the many eateries, almost like a restaurant precinct. Distinctly Asian in all the choices

Nice train station with nice restaurants built on top of it. This station is quite new only complete around 5 - 10 years ago. Multiple lines take you to various other stations without needing to change train. There is also a bus exchange again of numerous routes. North Shore line is the most affluent line in Sydney. It runs parallel to Pacific Highway. Basically rich people live along the lower north shore say between Mosman and Gordon. Chatswood is the biggest station on the North Shore line. In terms of the suburb itself you can think of Chatswood as the posh version of China Town mixed with medium to high class Western stores (Apple, Country Road, Cinemas, Star Bucks etc.). There are at least 4 shopping malls all close to one another (Westfield, Chatswood Chase , Mandarin Centre, Lemon Grove) within walking distance. There are grocery stores, pharmacies, medical centres, law firms, computer stores, toy stores, sporting stores, gym basically any shop you can think of, they are all here. Chatswood library is also relatively new, built within the last say 10 years and is quite comfortable to study in. Weekend can be very busy, and so parking will be difficult. Chatswood is quite a busy location. If you are looking for somewhere for a quiet cup of coffee then maybe try places like Crowsnest or Mosman.
