We decided to come here on our weekly grocery trip as it was close and I was craving Chinese BB! We came around 2pm on a Sunday. The journey was pretty simple as we just found parking at Chatswood Chase Sydney and it's outside and on the corner. My initial impression before going in was that it was a very standard Chinese bbq restaurant but more on the pricey side, even with the weekday discount or the daily specials. The have the standard display of roast duck on the window of the restaurant. They offer free Chinese tea if you dine in which is standard. I ordered my standard two mixed bbq of bbq pork and roast duck with rice and my wife went with the char kuew teow. Both our meals were lacking in taste and meat in our opinion, and more frontloaded with carbs. Mine with rice and my wife with noodles. Both dishes were 16 each so we were expecting more value. I'm not certain why the other reviewers believe it was good value. The food were just a pass for me. They have a minimum of 25 for EFPOS and they have a surcharge of 1.5%. What's the point in having a minimum of you're still going to apply the surcharge? AMEX is also not accepted. Overall it's pretty expensive for what you get and even then you're not entirely full. There are better value places and plenty of options around here not to bother coming back here. I would only come back if every other option is closed.

worst experience I have ever encountered in Sydney Chinese Restaurant service. The front middle age lady is very agitated when I asked if I could sit in. Her response was " no .no..no.. you cant enter without sign in." loud and rudely in front of other customers. when my 12 years try to use the apps, she just rudely interrupted by touching h/phone without asking permission . she does nt even aware of the covid 19 distancing rule by charging rudely into our space.God knows what she has touched before. when I finally decided to leave due to her bad manner( disrespectful ) in front of family,she snapped. her response was "go.go.go..goodbye"' . I hope non chinese won't have negative impression on all chinese restaurant due to this "bad apple" in Asian eateries. I just want to say " u r killing me ,woman with the astounding attitude" Good luck folks :) one star given is due to "no other choice" . she deserve 0 star from me just like other commentator.
Place is good with good service and food.
Very Angry, not even worth one star. Brought take away 1/2 chicken, found the thigh gone missing when arrived home. Called the restaurant, no one pick up the phone. Shameful to them to steal customer’s paid food to serve their BBQ & rice dishes.
