Good for kids
I've invited this store 4,5 times in the last a couple of months since I took up some dancing lessons. I have to say they offered ZERO customer service. Every time I visited this store I have to spend ages looking for the right outfit or shoes by myself, no one approached me to ask if I needed any help. As cold as can be. Last time I ended up buying the wrong shoes because I had ZERO assistance or advice. 170 totally wasted. This store reminds me of some sort of automatic supermarkets - finding the products on your own and shop assistant only talks to you at check out.

Great selection of dance wear. Vibrant colours and great quality
Today I arrived at Bloch Chatswood to get a pair of character shoes at 16:40. They close at 5. And the lady told me they are not doing any more shoe fitting for the day and the closed sign is displayed at the shop front. I could see there just one or two customers in the shop at that time and shoe fitting area was totally empty. Instead there were 4 shop assistances wandering around, had nothing to do. I think any one of them could spare may be just 5 minute to do a shop fitting for me. It did not say shoe fitting is by appointment only or any where say they are not doing shoe fitting 20 minutes before closing time. And the lady told me they were closed was just standing and guarding the door far before 5. I think they totally can serve one or more customers before the closing time.
Absolutely disappointed in their overall customer service. The staff advised my wife what ballet shoes my daughter required based on the specific details of my daughters class, dance school, grade etc.. . We trusted them and before her first class wrote our daughters name on the shoes (as you do) As it turns out they advised incorrectly and my daughter had the wrong ballet shoes. Store won’t take responsibility for giving the wrong advice and won’t replace or refund the shoes. Store manager by the name of Olivia simply refused to take responsibility. These guys are not experts and don’t take their advise. Ended up buying the correct shoes from AKA Dancewear in North Ryde.
Beautiful store. Lovely stuff. Everything is simply perfect. What a treat for any dancer.
My girlfriend is a retired professional dancer and get daughter is studying dance. She loved the place for variety and price. She bought some comfortable heeled shoes. Definitely worth a visit
Need to get a professional cleaner to clean the store. This during COVID.
There is a variety of dance wear, and the staff are very helpful. It can get a little bit crowded at times, but otherwise...
