Our experience with Vintage Connections was amazing. Bryan, hat off to you mate. From first phone call to last stop back at our accommodation you ensured we were comfortable, enjoying ourselves and shared your knowledge about the Hunter Region and the winemakers. Highly recommend Vintage Connections if you're after an experience that goes the extra mile and shows you the winemakers who make the region special.

We had a fantastic day with Bryan of Vintage Connections. It really is a great way to see the vineyards, taste lovely wine and learn about the history of the Hunter Valley, all whilst being ferried around in the comfort of Bryan's comfy van. I've done wine tours overseas (Germany and NZ) plus in many locations around Australia (Southern Highlands, Brown River, Orange, McLaren Vale, South Coast, Seppeltsfield, Barossa, Great Western) but I've never been behind the scenes like on the Vintage Connections tour. They really have great relationships with some winemakers that don't usually welcome tours, so we got to sit with some winemakers and really get a sense of what it's all about. So you'll get to places you won't get with any other tour company. Plus Bryan's an entertaining, informative and fun host for the day. I highly recommend these guys, well worth every cent.
I would highly recommend Bryan for a wine tour. We had such a great experience and he tailored the tour to the group fantastically at such short notice. He knew a lot about all the wineries and was great to go to small family owned wineries. We had a lot of fun and would definitely do another wine tour with Vintage Connections next time we are up in Hunter Valley.
Bryan's personality and humour make this tour go up to 11, his close relationships with the wineries give you a great experience plus his local knowledge of the valley gives you a great understanding of what goes into winemaking and understanding of your palette There were no additional fees to pay, like tasting fees etc you just pay for the wines you'd like to purchase and your lunch. Bryan planned a fantastic day that was customised to our preferences and included extra activities like meeting the winemakers and a visit to the distillery. Highly recommend Vintage Connections for anyone visiting the Hunter Valley, I know we will 100% be using him again the next time we're up! Cannot thank you enough Bryan!
Massive thankyou to Bryan! He dropped everything he was doing for my partner Kylie and I, and created an amazing tour we will never forget! It had the lot, great boutique cellar doors, (based on our knowledge of wines and pallets) wonderful cheese and chocolate pairing, and a beautiful scenic spot where we at local cheeses and sampled an amazing local bottle of wine. Can't recommend Bryan highly enough, an absolute gentleman and scholar of local knowledge He should be the only person you would need to consult for an intimate tour of the Hunter Valley wineries!
Bryan was a wonderful tour guide who tailored the perfect wine tour for our family weekend away. He chose wineries where the makers really took the time to chat with us about all of the wines, and he ensured we got to try some special selections not usually offered for tasting. I would highly recommend Bryan to anyone wanting an authentic Hunter Valley wine tour experience!
My partner and I had a great experience touring with Bryan. We called him the day before and he was able to create a customised itinerary with such short notice, which we absolutely loved. He is very knowledgeable and he knows the Hunter Valley inside out so we trusted all his recommendations. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a customised private tour!
