Welcoming staff at the weigh bridge, confirmed my ID then given instructions on where to dump. Man at the dump site very good guided us in & ensured we had the correct PPE before we unloaded. Good friendly & professional approach & dumping point very clean & tidy.

Just had a clean out at home and took a trip to our local 'friendly ' dump. Stopped at the weigh bridge upon entry. The 'gentleman ' that greeted me was sharp,rude and condescending. Moving on to the metal drop off was a contrast. The gentleman there was courteous, energetic and friendly. Last stop - household waste. The supervisor there did nothing but drink water and lean on a skip bin. This is what my hard earned tax dollars are paying for??? To top it off, upon leaving , the 'gentleman ' at the toll booth was too busy talking to his colleague that he didn't even acknowledge that I was there. Then,because I was a few kilos over the voucher limit I had to pay extra. I feel that they all should attend a customer service course and pay for it themselves. Or get some tips from the metal man.
well laid out facility, don't have to drive in any mud, helpful staff
Great friendly and helpful staff. Well laid out with planned drop off zones. Can drop off just about everything, except furniture, which can be dropped off behind the Salvation Army store in the main street of Cessnock.
It is a very clean, well thought out and managed facility, with recycling available for glass, metals, etc. For the first time user, the road system to the dump areas, can take a while to learn. The user doesn't need to access the general waste pit area at all.
Would have been better if I didn't have to cart home all the engine oil because they were out of storage space.
Always have a great time at the Cessnock Dump. Friendlies an efficiency. Recommend them to anyone who wants to get rid of stuff. Better than dumping your waste in the bush. Cheers.
If there was 0 stars, I'd give that Old mate stitched us up and said scrap metal was free to drop but then ended up charging us nearly 1000
