Took the family - 2 young kids - on the 3hr learn to sail lesson. Absolutely fantastic experience! Terry is amazing, great to teach and to build your confidence, and the Broadwater is a very good place to learn the basics. the kids had a great time - definitely something to do on a weekend, and now very keen to go to the next level and sail the Whitsundays!! Thanks Terry for the experience and the fun!

Terry, was just Brilliant, his whole aim was us to walk before we could run. To make sure that we understand the Don’t,s before we were in the open water. So that when we were out on the open water we were confident in doing things safely and without hurting ourselves. When out on the water he chose the most confident one to steer and the less confident one of us to work the winches and sales. So that as a team we sailed as well and safely as possible. Anyone wanting to step out on the water in Confidence should book a lesson with Terry first. We both loved the experience and would recommend Terry to anyone with full confidence that you will not only have an excellent time out on the water but a safe and knowledgeable understanding of boating/sailing also.

He explained things in a way that was really easy for a group of total beginners to understand and we loved getting to have a very hands-on experience under his skilled guidance. Finally got out for a lesson. Terry can take up to 4 students. I ended up taking only my partner so we would have a more hands on intense time out on the water. Learnt a lot. You can only do so much theory before you have to grind a winch. Terry is a great teacher. Calm and knowledgeable and kept asking questions of us. I recommend him highly
