Great host and run by volunteers. Next to the sports ground and all fees go help local kids to play sport. Has a great basic camp kitchen. Hot showers in the adjacent sports ground rooms. Great value for 10. Couldn't ask for more for the dollars. Get behind them :-)
Great little campsite! Grassy areas with shade. The birds are abundant (& noisy!) , so lovely! Hot showers and undercover bbq area on site.
Wonderful place. Cheap and a great centre to visit surrounding places. Steve the caretaker is brilliant. Hot showers, amenities, tennis court and footy oval. Bush setting high up from the river. Perfect spot. This is our first time camping, absolutely loved it.
It's a bush camping area, if you are not looking for the "Ritz", it meets your needs, the facilities are old and could do with an upgrade, but the showers are hot and there is plenty of water. A few powered sites and an open camp kitchen, Steve the manager is a champion, very helpful and amenable. The feature of your visit to Cavendish is a meal at the pub, it is a " foodie's motherload", a chef who has retreated home from a hatted restaurant background and doing very special stuff. It's a food oasis.
A absolutely fantastic place, hot shower toilet very good drinking water and only 5 pp nice and quiet. Love it.
Great spot. Beautiful setting, helpful manager and good company. A hidden gem.
The owner is very cheerful and happy to help any time, the camp site has a great little playground and is very peaceful
