I have attended Caulfield shule since 1956.I had my barmi in 1962 there in the new shule, wedding 1970,gett 1985.I attended many shabbats and even after I moved to Seymour I would make the 310km round trip for shabbat, but some months ago when attending David Mond shook my hand, this was the man the got rid of my best friend Rabbi Jonason Abraham and I decided then and there to never return to Caulfield shule again.Fancy having such an evil man as president!

I parked nearby and was immediately harassed by the 'security' and promptly interrogated. Although i was not attending and was nearby as a coincidence, as a citizen of Israel i am especially disturbed by the experience. There was no reason to do this i did nothing suspicious and the security would not accept my answers to their intrusive questions. I feel rather alienated from the jewish community in this instance - since when was it okay to hire security and seemingly encourage them to harass members of public?

If its your first time don't go there, they harassing my family members because it was there first time going there it was an interrogation because taking your drivers license and takibg photos without any explanation and then followed then to the car and taking more photos and taking the rego down its worse than you think it felt like a violation of your privacy. Don't ever go here ever..... if they told us for security purposes we need to take a photo then it would of gone a different way..... seriously that was unfair from my point of view... but i can kind of see their point if they are trying to protect themselves in the end. ....
