Courage to Care is a travelling education program that transforms bystanders to Upstanders. Utilizing the Holocaust to explore prejudice, racism and discrimination, the program focuses on the examples of Upstanders: the ‘Righteous Among the Nations’ (who risked their own lives to save others) and the heroes of other genocides whose courage saved lives. By offering participants an Upstanders Toolbox, the program empowers and inspires Victorians to take positive action and stand up to bullying and discrimination in all its forms, from the school yard to the workplace. Courage to Care encourages the development of an intelligent, peaceful and diverse society, with understanding and respect for all. Courage to Care offers workshops for schools, community groups and workplaces.
