Staff are unknowledgeable of products and dismissive of customers. Horrible experience in this store... would not recommend shopping here.

I love this store and when I noticed Carrol Boyes items in the window, I went in and asked if they could order some special products for me as they didn't have what I wanted in stock. The customer services was wonderful and they didn't charge for getting what I wanted delivered quicker than usual.

I must be one of the lucky ones compared to all the negative reviews. But then again, I didn’t buy any knives, just other kitchen products. The staff seemed friendly and helpful to me.

I bought a mortar and pestle worth 65 from this shop, and the pestle was broken after one week while I was using it. I only used it twice. I went there to talk to them and showed them the broken pestle. When we went there to buy it, they were so polite, friendly and very helpful. But when I went back with the broken pestle, they turned quite rude, unfriendly and not helpful at all. Although I did not have my bill with me, I knew the exact date and time. And I could provide them the payment proof through the bank app. They didn’t even bother to take a look at their system to trace the sale and told me they cant do anything about it since I didn’t have the bill. We have bought many things from them and never went back asking for refund or wanting to return stuff. It is fine if they didn’t want to replace it with a new one or give me the money back. At least some respect and listening to a regular customer would have been sufficient. I would never go to this place even if that is the last place standing.

All good. A busy store, some great knives and good advice.

You know, there needs to be a ZERO star review option. The old guy that just failed to serve me failed in every aspect, will take my money elsewhere. . . . Didn't buy, wont buy from there, wont go back.

I sure don't know why anyone would give anything less than 5 stars. The knowledge, the prices, the customer service is all outstanding... i'll be back for sure. Thanks for your patience and time with me .

Avoid! Once upon a lifetime this franchise was operated by people with integrity and expertise. Management changed approximately three years ago hence the downhill spiral! Guestimating I've spent approximately 5,000 with this store purchasing originally entry level Global knives, blocks, sharpeners then elevating to superior Japanese knives and their more expensive accessories, Epicurian chopping boards in every shape and colour, oven mits, kitchen utensils, pans et al Latest purchase two gaudy Christmas wooden cooking spoons and a freezer carry bag. Returning to my home, both wooden cooking spoons were cracked, from top to bottom therefore unusable because as any home cook or chef acknowledges, cracks in wooden utensils deems them unusable due to their ability to absorb food material which ultimately becomes bacteria. Staff seem more concerned about who might be stealing some cheap item from their front of store display than a return high-spending customer. I'm online from herein.
