My husband and I lived here for half a year. It's really a good apartment. near to bus station, 10 minutes walk to westfield, 20 minutes to city center by bus. What's more, James is so kind and helpful. After we moved to Gold Coast, we really miss Unigardens and James.

My colleague and I were staying in Canberra from January-February 2016 for 7 weeks for a school internship! We had asked for a two bedroom, and James from Unigardens had sent us the map of an apartment that looked like a two-room bedroom, but it was actually just a a one bedroom and a living room that had a bed in it separating it from the kitchen by a sliding door, but the top portion of the sliding door was not covered at all, even though it was shown in the apartment map. Although I had to take that room since my classmate was a female and I wanted to respect her privacy, I had no privacy myself in that apartment aside from the bathroom/shower. I had told James within the first few days, and he said that we had already signed the contract, and that he would proceed legally against us if we were to break the contract early. My classmate and I decided to go ahead with the apartment, but aside from the quick-one pulled by this company, the frequent wifi internet outages, and the fact that the manager deducted the bank fees (30-40) in addition to a supplementary cleaning cost from our deposits in addition to the carpet cleaning that we had paid, then I don't know what else to say.

The apartments are filthy, overpriced and in a very unsafe neighbourhood to my standard. The photos online are a little bit misleading. This is my opinion but IN MY OPINION don't rent here because my experience here was bad.
