Best mashed potato I have ever had in my life, the drink selection was great and the bartenders were all so friendly and more than happy to answer any questions. Service was super quick and fantastic. I would definitely recommend PJ's In The City for dinner and drinks.

Really friendly service. A great lunch menu and a very good selection of cold beers on tap.

The service was good but the place was empty. I ordered a medium sirloin. It was very disappointing. Not medium/over cooked and very tough.

Watered down cider and dry ribs like jerky... but the chicken parmi was amazing! Don't expect anything more than your infamous Canberra hospitality here. Will be back for the parmi, not the service.

WORST EXPERIENCE!!!!! Would not recommend at all.. My boyfriend and I were visiting some friends in Canberra and were drinking here for the WHOLE night. We put our names, phone numbers down as we arrived. We were sitting outside and before we left my boyfriend and I wanted to go and use the toilet. The bouncer didn’t let us in saying that it is not a public toilet. We tried to explain to him that we have been drinking here the whole night and he can also see our names and contact number in the book and he refused to let us in claiming that the restaurant is now closed and we can’t go to the bar( which we never wanted because we only wanted to use the bathroom before going home) and we are not allowed in EVEN THOUGH it was full with people still drinking. After we tried to reason with him completely NONVIOLENT he got super aggressive grabbed my boyfriend by the neck and threw him on the ground!!! After all that we asked to talk to his manager about his outrageous behavior he just kept repeating that we have to leave and we are not allowed in and he was keep pushing my boyfriend and trying to start a fight with him.. The bouncer’s behavior was completely unacceptable!!! People like him should never be able to work in a field where they are given power. He completely ruined our night and experience in Canberra. Even though the restaurant and the bartenders were very nice if I could, I would give this place definitely less than one star based on how we’ve been treated just because we wanted to use the toilet in a bar where we’ve been drinking and spending our money for a WHOLE NIGHT. Horrible experience...

Decent food, reasonable beverage prices and nice laid back atmosphere. The group I was with had a pleasant afternoon and will be back again.

Great chill for after work drinks and catch ups. The resident band is amazing! They used to have the happy hour... we want to stay n support but paying normal prices when we know others are doing happy hour? Hmm...
