A great stop over to learn of the Aboriginal Arts and Culture on the way to the National Zoo. The shop features a souvenir shop selling paintings, to printed cloths. Its family run and the attendee in knowledgeable on the Aboriginal History of her family from Queensland to Canberra.

Great variety of artworks and the staff are really friendly. Prices range from 30-2k, and it's great that they support local artists.

Fantastic artworks here from Indigenous artists. Next door is a meeting room that is comfortable and self-contained.

If you want to know about Australian indigenous people a really good place to start, lovely people who do so much for the younger generation well worth the visit highly recommend.

I went to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Yarramundi Reach, to, hopefully, be part of the simultaneous broadcast of Scott Morrison's apology for the institutional child and sexual abuse that was established by the Royal Commission. Unfortunately, at the Centre, there were no clear signs and a local staff did not know it was happening. After searching around and stumbling upon a totally separate raining group, I decided to abandon the Cutural Centre and drive to my next best option, namely the Margaret Whitlam Pavilion in the National Arboretum. Once there, all was well. Birds sang, the clouds cleared, and we sat to hear the PM'S mea culpa and his subsequent concrete steps. The upshop of all the words from the PM and thr Leader of the opposition is that I want to witness the rollout of an effective program. .
