Have tried calling on several occasions. No one seems to answer. Had enough waiting on the phone and this council actually doing something let alone answer a call. Can some answer the phone within 5 minutes? Amazing customer service!!

Continual harassment by council rangers after fraudulent neighbours complaints. They were made aware of this and the laws. Didn't follow up with complaints about illegal building of of shed on fencline but continually harass me about stuff that is acceptable. Useless and need further training.

I tend to agree with everyone's comments here. Slow to take action. When you have an issue, it takes a long time for someone to come E.g. complaints about people dumping rubbish or noise pollution. They don't follow up or get back to you even after a number of calls or emails. When you get a case manager, their phone always rings out. If you are lucky and get them on the phone 10 seconds later they say they are "busy" and need to hang up the phone. No call back, I had to chase them up. Talk about service. However they are more than happy to point a finger and "instruct" people to do things. Not sure if they are under resourced, but possibly one of the worse councils. If this was a private enterprise they would out gone out of business a long time ago!

Must say, pay my rates, roads seem to get fixed quite often and they do my front lawn. AND Sharron (?) the lady who helped me out with my bins being emptied was super polite and nice ️

Garbage Council. Ever since they've merged with Bankstown they've declined heavily. If you look at our streets and the state they're in, you'll find that the community is both unmaintained and dirty. It is as if the rates acquired from members of the Community are being pocketed rather than being used to maintain and further improve our community. The customer support when calling up the business center is extremely poor, and most staff are untrained and unaware of both Australian Law, and customer service etiquette. I had a problem regarding the Nature Strip in-front of my property as council sent me a notice to maintain THEIR land, I denied on grounds that I'm not at liberty to maintain their property and that they should send me relevant law acts and sections that pertains to their policy. They could not send me any relevant laws, and instead they kept persisting to a non-nonexistent policy. The policy they're referring to is THEIR policy that doesn't correlate to any Law Acts and doesn't require the FREE citizen to maintain public land. It is disgusting that we are harassed by representatives of the community to clean up the mess that we pay council rates for. It is disgusting that we're also threaten to have action taken against us if we do not slave for them so they can pocket more money from the community. Definitely this council needs a royal commission, because they're failing the people.

in general Campsie is just bad and to be honest i'd rather live on a farm (if there wasn't a massive drought) the streets are pretty dirty but that's only Campsie. places like Croydon Park and Clempton park are much cleaner. i live in the least dirty place of campsie but when you start hitting the center of Campsie it gets dirtier and dirtier and the people living in my area are sort of sketchy. the only reason i can bear it is because i live in a much cleaner part of Campsie.

Booked a clean up 17th May they didn't pick up the rubbish 2 weeks later I called again they said they will get it done, another 2 weeks went by I called again and they told me that they have collected the rubbish, I said they haven't, they replied OK we'll get it done. Rang again today they told me that it's already been picked up and you need to use your second clean up, I really don't need the second clean up but it's the principal that they scammed me out of the 2nd clean up, just another way to make more profit, very poor way to treat your residents that pay for your wages.
