A friend recommended I pop in here. It has a new owner worth trying it out. I came to get some advice over some sewing. The atmosphere of this place is beautiful Despite the noisy road outside it's quiet inside. Love the "at home" feel created by the rug, table, timber walls, chairs and big bunch of flowers. Excellent friendly customer service....these ladies know their stuff. (Thankyou for your welcome today. I will be back for the classes you plan to run). ️ Just a few doors up from Camberwell station. I found free 2 hour parking on Cookson street away from the shops. I might have been lucky.
What a beautifully presented shop, with helpful and knowledgeable staff. I will definitely return to purchase some more Liberty & Michael Millar fabrics soon. The new owners are great, well worth a visit if you are looking to buy a new sewing machine.
I love the new store and the team that work there are friendly, knowledgeable, the store looks absolutely fabulous. I had an issue with my Bernina and had been back a few times with the previous owner. I wasn’t happy with the time the previous owner had taken to fix it or the communication about what was going on. My experience with a warranty repair was amazing with the new store, the communication was great and they put me in touch with the Bernina rep who was also really helpful. I’m so happy with the new team and store. I was thinking about taking my business elsewhere but can’t imagine going anywhere else now. Thank you.

I'm Looking forward to meeting the new owners, I hope we can work together proactively. I have purchased all my Bernina sewing machines from the Camberwell sewing centre. (I've spent a small fortune) I will miss Pat dearly. I hope the new owners have retained some of the original staff especially Frances who I value highly!!!!

New Management? Should be absolutely disgusted with the way the lady serving on 27 November 2019 treated my elderly mother who had carried her sewing machine to seek assistance and was turned away without help! To be simply told all machines are the same and not spending one minute of time when there was no one else in the shop is absolutely appalling. I am a resident for 30 years and I will never visit this store again!
