After suffering from a stress related skin irritation for over 2 months, I visited Mac at Ocean Holistic in a last ditch effort to cure the condition that deprived me of sleep for 8 weeks. I had visited 3 different doctors who best-guessed a solution and in all cases, the condition worsened. I was admittedly skeptical about acupuncture and honestly, i could not have been more wrong. After 1 session with Mac, I had immediate results. I slept well for the first time in 2 months after the first session which focused on the itching in my legs, and then after the second session which focused on the whole body, the irritation was all but gone. The treatment in combination with herbal medicine has worked wonders. I can't believe i let my stubbornness to adopt acupuncture get in the way of the cure. Thank you Mac, you will be my go-to for any further issues.

I have been going to Akemi every week for a massage for about a year now and just started having acupuncture with Mackenzie (I have had 3 acupuncture sessions to date). The massage and the acupuncture compliment each other for a much better & deeper result than just using one modality. Both Akemi & Mackenzie are amazing therapists, very professional, friendly, they fully explain the process of the treatments and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
A beautiful and holistic team! Fantastic acupuncturist and amazing massage therapist!!! I have been seeing Mackenzie for my acupuncture treatment on my finger for tendon damage as well as cosmetic for my face. I have seen a difference in both areas after a short amount of time. My finger has more sensation and more movement and the small but visible capillaries on my cheeks had reduced to almost nothing after my first facial treatment. Mackenzie also treated me for digestive and anxiety issues which have drastically improved after only 3-4 sessions. If you are experiencing any muscular pain or discomfort then Akemi is your go-to! She will work it out and leave you feeling so much better! Couldn’t recommend this practice more!
I have been having massage for over 30 years now so know the feel of a good therapist. I have been seeing Akemi for over 12 months. She is small but she can get in hard when she needs to ensuring you get the desired result. Very professional in her approach and able to direct claim from health funds.
What an amazing experience. It was my first taste of real acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Dr Fox ( Mac ) made me feel comfortable, took genuine interest in me and took the time to connect personally. He loves Surfing too so that's a bonus. His evaluation was well explained and thorough. The techniques he used were painless and definitely released the tension I was holding on to. The treatment rooms were fresh, hygienic, comfortable, quiet and soothing. The tea is also epic. Akemi is a kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. I hear she is also offers great remedial massage. Im keen to try her skills out. Id recommend it to anyone and ill definitely be a regular client. I feel energetic, happy, cared for and learnt alot at the same time. Do not hesitate, you're in great hands.

I have had three remedial massages with Akemi, each very different but the intensity increased each time. The last massage involved the heated stones and cupping. My back pain has now gone! Amazing and thank you. Akemi and her husband, Mackenzie are friendly, welcoming and caring. A great business that is available in Caloundra.
I had a brilliant acupuncture appointment with Mackenzie and the clinic atmosphere is very calming, overall a great experience. If only I lived closer, I'd be coming in more often.
