Do not go here as there are hidden fees, and they don't have the lowest price as publicly advertised. A big sign behind the counter says they have the lowest price "guaranteed" - yet a text message I received from their own company had a higher exchange rate then what they gave me in store. What a rip off! They don't have the lowest price, you need to find the lowest somewhere else and then go to them to honour it.

Lowest rate we found in Cairns; even worse than Travelex who are lousy the world over. Save your time try Currency Services Australia; 5c per more without haggling.

Not sure if Jessica works for someone else or didnt understand. But found that banks and other exchange agents have the hidden fees not tmoz. Anz offered a better rate but there was a transaction fee and a delay on the money to the bank which meant they were more expensive.Found the rates to be the best based on buy/sell not the actual exchange rates listed on the news. These rates are what you pay if you were an international broker/bank buying it - not retail purchases - thought that would be obvious but apparently not. All up best rates when you compare what cash i got in hand, got it done quickly and the staff were awesome and friendly. Better than a bank and didnt feel sleazy like dealing with those agents out on abbot / lake st.
