Involving in this IELTS Test was a great experience for me. Doing IELTS test, tested my abilities in understanding English language well. It helped my way of using words i.e. there are many words that can be used for speaking and even writing but I lacked that ability. This experience will allow me to improve on my writing and speaking and I am thankful for the experience. Moreover, this was my first IELTS test and I believe I can improve in the near future if I have to sit for another test. Thank you.

The best place to do the IELTS test! You will feel like at home. The staff is really kind and supportive, they even have local resources to help you to boost your score. Ask for Michelle and/or Kath and they will help you with any doubt! I did the paper based test and also the computer based test and I strongly recommend the Computer one if you want a high score in writing.
Do listening with speaker might effected by some noise come from other place. I prefer headphone.
Highly recommended.. staff was very kind, the class was clean and well organised. Rules were clear and well explained.I felt like at home and this gave me the opportunity to concentrate better without felling anxiety.. Overall i had a very good experience thank you!!!

I literally wanted to take my IELTS test this January 2021 considering my immigration process. But, when I looked at the schedule during the mid week of Dec 2020, IELTS General training test was completely booked in Port Moresby. Hence, I emailed IDP Cairns and was liaising with Kath O'Bryan and explained her about my situation. Kath was very honest and was of great help to me since then. Luckily, there was a cancellation and Kath prompt response helped me to avail that cancelled booking and I got into that Slot! I truly appreciate her assistance on this and Thank You IDP Cairns! looking forward to my test next week :)
