We used Spits 'N" Pieces for an event with 30 people and had the pig on the spit plus the gourmet sides. It was absolutely fabulous - not only was the food delicious but the service was seamless. They brought all the cutlery, served right on time and took everything with them when they went. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again. We also had vegetarians and gluten free attendees who were perfectly catered for.

Completely disrespectful customer service. Would not provide me the information I needed on line item costs and became rude when I gave a low end budget that they did not find “reasonable”. Hung up after I provided a ballpark figure without room for more info or negotiation. Terrible first impression, would not recommend.
Damien and his friendly team, from initial communication via phone and email, to the quality of the food and price, were exceptional - they exceeded all expectations. Everything went seamlessly for our 100 guests… the team were professional and the food was sensational. We received compliments on how good everything tasted, even days after! I had the honour of being an MC at a wedding recently where Spits 'N' Pieces were the caterers so please note that I was not the client & I am not reviewing on the bride & grooms behalf only my own experience. I give 4 stars based on the fact that the food was great & the "staff" were excellent. The missing star is because of the attitude of the chef in charge. His bio reads:- "Im Matthew a qualified chef that has been a part of this growing family business since 2011. I have a happy go luck attitude, but always work with a high standard & professionalism. With my joy for cooking and attention to detail I aim to deliver the best professional service to our growing and long existing customers. I have received many testimonials by our regular customers and other clients commenting on my positive energy, ability to adapt, working well with others and provide quality service. Over my career, I have worked in various restaurants, cafes and resorts, which gives me my own unique experience that I offer to the team" Missing from the reality was his "happy go luck attitude" his "ability to adapt" and his "working well with others". Twice he forced a change in program, dinner was served 20 mins early & the Bridal Waltz HAD to happen AFTER dessert because he "needed to get out of there". Admittedly the bad weather forced many things to be adapted for this open wedding & marquee reception but everyone else seemed to have the happy go luck ability to adapt and work well with others without forcing their preferences on the evening. I suggest if you are getting paid to cater - just stick with that! Don't get involved as an organiser and if you have suggestions (read demands) - read your own bio again before you make them.
So professional. The food was amazing, but the customer service and ability to provide exactly what was promised makes me confident to recommend them to anyone.
