We cannot thank Stephen and his team enough for their professionalism and compassion. From our first meeting with Stephen, he gently guided with us as we made decisions to best celebrate our mother’s life. Stephen helped us organise all elements of mum’s funeral and even wore a purple tie as a tribute to mum’s favourite colour. The compassion he showed when dealing with our family in difficult circumstances was such a comfort and his attendance at the memorial mass helped make our grieving process easier. Stephen’s and Newhaven’s services will always be remembered and appreciated.

This is the 5th time we have used NewHaven funerals and can’t thank Frank and Rod enough for the beautiful service held for mum (Jessie Wallace) yesterday. Their professionalism and caring was greatly appreciated by all her family. We were disappointed that the hydrolics on the lowering mechanism were faulty and the outdoor sling mechanism had slipped causing the coffin to be on a lean and it was jolting as the casket was lowered. This is in no way directed to Frank or Rod as we understand it was a mechanical issue not their fault.
Newhaven Funerals are the very best. I shopped around and decided they were giving the Best Service and Value for money and I got so much much more.I first delt with Tracy she was so very helpful and caring,gave me lots of ideas I would not even thought of nothing was to much trouble, Then I met Steven he too was a big help all done in a very caring and professional way.Now I must say that the funeral is for myself as I did not want my Son to have the stress of trying to think what would Mum want.I this is the last good thing you can do for your family
From the first phone call I made to you, I felt at ease right away. Losing my son suddenly was traumatic and devastating for me and the compassion from the staff was exceptional. Your team helped me get through this very hard time. Steve, the funeral director went the extra mile to help me with our unusual situation surrounding my son’s death; his compassion was very sincere, and he felt more like a best mate. All the arrangements that Steve suggested were second to none. Ken the celebrant for the funeral service, was really understanding, and his service was conducted as if he knew our family for a long time. If I was selecting a company based on the ratings from Google reviews, this company would have been the one. They were my first phone call and given the website informed me it was fine to call 24/7, I was disappointed that the man I spoke with was not very impressed being woken by my call. Thankfully, by the time anyone contacted me the following day, we had gone with another company who we have not been able to fault in any way. Losing someone close to you, is an incredibly sensitive time for anyone. We heavily relied on arranging a funeral director that was able to make the formalities feel doable, this company did not meet our needs.
My son Christopher passed away on 2/7/19. The funeral was incredible held at The Baptist Church at Reedy Creek with over 500 people attending.
