Nice enough staff, professional, strong massage, easy parking. But my reasons for getting a massage was largely for relaxation as well as muscle tightness, and I do find harder massages relaxing as well. However, i have studied massage in the past myself and there was contact broken 3 times at least to walk over to a bench to get more oil, which one of the first rules of massage is not to break contact, this does effect relaxation and did for me, usually the oil is within reach, also other broken contact during massage. Secondly the room was not dim lit or very appealing more like a doctor's office, the appearance might have been ok but the lighting wasn't real suitable for relaxation. The peppermint smell on the room was nice, but there was no relaxation music in the background. The massage therapist was certainly adequate but the set up was not good at all for relaxation with the broken contact as well. Also not a big deal but I hadn't lied down on the bed yet and was exposed when the door started opening so had to quickly jump on the bed and pull the towel over. Not a big deal but yeah. I chose this place because being a wellness practice rather then in a shopping centre etc I felt like it would be suitable for relaxation but was definately more clinical feeling.

I have been visiting Mark Barone to get help with my CFS. I have found Mark's treatment to be very helpful and I would suggest that if you are looking for an alternative opinion and treatment, for whatever condition that you have, to pay him a visit at his Gold Coast Clinic.

Dr Chris and therapist Mark took amazing care of me not only was their knowledge thorough but the whole team at empowering wellness had empathy for my situation. It is so rare to find practitioners who care but here I know they actually care about my wellness! There are two Marks, they are both great chiropractors and compassionate people. I'm so grateful every time I go! Even when I am in pain and my range of motion is limited when I leave there is always improvement.

Had a massage voucher from Groupon given to me for this clinic and had a pretty good massage but then went to hand in the voucher I was told that the voucher was for a specific clinician who only works 2 days a week and was forced to pay the 80 for 45 min. Not even a discount offered. Can't use the voucher as her timnes do not suit my availability, so they walk away with the money from my massage as well as the money paid from my mother in law. Win Win for them :( Have since had a phone call from office manager apologising for the misunderstanding and have been offered a complimentry massage which was a nice offer.

I’ve been to a few chiropractors but Dr Chris Ientile is by far the best. He has intuitive and holistic approach. The reception staff are fantastic too.
