Pretty unimpressed by this place. I was there for a friend's birthday and did not skate, however, was charged 17 to enter. I did not enter the ice, nor did I put skates on my feet and just sat on the benches watching friends. I have never had to pay before and the lady behind the front desk said this was only for Friday and Saturday nights (The 17 charge is not presented anywhere. Only a sign stating no free admission). I am sure a couple of dollars would suffice for amenities use and such. If you are going to charge someone to sit on the benches such a hefty price I would suggest you use this towards something necessary. For example: New skates that aren't over 15 years old and literally falling apart (A friend had to return a pair as they were so disheveled, the tongue was missing and the internal padding of the boot had come loose). Your interior needs to be updated, as this too is coming apart and outdated (literally has not been changed in over 15 years). The bench seats, at the very top, were absolutely saturated and this is not as a result of people's skates - probably from the condensation from the roof. What looked like mould was developing on the walls where the bench seats are. The flooring is a trip hazard, as the mats stick up where they connect and do not sit flat on the floor (one of my other friends tripped over this as we were leaving). Your service and maintenance of the building does not entice me as a customer and I certainly will stay away.

Not bad. But I thought it would be better. I remember ice stadiums in Europe. They are much much modern. In general, I had a good time.
Great fun for the kids. The service isn't all that great. The rink is amazing for the kids though. The boots are terrible. They really should be spraying them with Glen 20 after each session due to COVID.
On one side it’s a great fresh breeze inside (so good when it’s 31 outside). On the other side it’s the worst ice quality I’ve seen in my life. I do not know if it’s possible to make a great ice on the Gold Coast, but I’ve been in California open air ice rink that operates on 22 and ice was ok (not great but much better than here). Was not crowded on Saturday but still Ovechkin was spotted on ice. Gear is a bit outdated so it’s better just to BYO.
I was greeted by the ever so beautiful Natalie at the entrance and after the lovely chat I found myself at the ice skate rental desk, they both offer the regular hockey skate and normal ice skate (with front pick). After gliding over the ice for a good hour and a bit, the staff left an everlasting impression and next time I'm at the Gold Coast I shall 100% be coming back!
Fun times. Good price. Good for 8-10 years old parties.
It's always a bit of fun going ice skating here :)
Nice and friendly staff, not overly crowded. You can buy food and drinks once inside, although there isn't a huge variety. Place is clean and constantly supervised to ensure the safety of everyone.
