Looked after my elderly boy in his final months with compassion and care. Will absolutely continue to go as the service received is always brilliant.

I have been attending this vet for well over 25 years. Cameron was wonderful, caring and very knowledgeable. I always felt my fur kids were in the best care. Fast forward to January, 2021 and I was absolutely gob smacked with what happened. Change of management - let me point out. I booked my dog in for annual vaccination. I produced my dogs vaccination passport that I have been using since he was a pup. I was informed that they would not be filling out this passport as new management do not want any other vet clinic details displayed. I shrugged this off when in reality probably should have left. It is no big deal, however, I did think that this was a little over the top. So the vet gave a simple check over and was vaccinated. I once again produced my pet passport in hope that maybe the vet would just fill it out and all vaccination records could be kept in one booklet. I was wrong, instead I got a long card board envelope size record. I was pretty disappointed as the pet passport has a vet stamp on the rear of the booklet, no other identifying marks. Why not fill out the passport? I was also not afforded an opportunity to say goodbye to Cameron, only told he was busy with the new owner. As a customer of his for 25 years I think the decision for Cameron to see me should have been his to make. I was disappointed. Unfortunately my 25 years of pet care for my fur kids has come to an end at this clinic.

Very poor examination, non existent. Did not give my dog a thorough examination, and did not treat her for the worrying problem I presented her with . Very lax, nursing staff provide excellent service. Have written to consulting Vet, Dr. Gust.

I was a loyal client to this Vet over a 22 year period for my 3 cats. All of my cats reached old age. I was always satisfied with the treatment provided. However, my last cat had ongoing issues with cystitis and having lost her brother a few months earlier was seriously depressed, she was in a bad way. Her final four Vet visits were not with this vet as I could never get an appointment. I honestly felt let down. There was never an offer of “we’ll squeeze you in.” My cat was put to sleep at another clinic completely new to her. Apparently loyalty only goes one way!

Cameron Wood took care of my little French Bulldog after surgery with another specialist vet. I needed some additional painkillers for our pup and when we brought him in, they simply charged me 38 for a pain killer patch. Not even a consult fee (despite having seen him). This Vet is incredibly honest and dosen't take advantage of you. Very happy to be a client here.

I took my cats here twice. First time was their first ever check up as I got them from a cat rescue. The female vet told me they had bad teeth and to put them on dental food. She did not introduce herself or ask many questions about the cats, the appointment felt rushed and disinterested. The second visit the male vet (again didn’t introduce himself) was jovial enough, told me the cats still had bad teeth and that I should book them in to potentially have some teeth removed. I took them to another vet approximately two months later who said their teeth are fine. I feel like this is not the vet for cats.

Our dogs are getting old and I need if TLC when going to the vet. I have found that vets in my area have been very transactional and never seeing the same one within the clinic (locum vets). This is a family orientated clinic not looking for the up sell and actually know what they are talking about. I feel really comfortable and was extremely pleased with the service provided. Highly recommend.

Great nurses and vets. Very friendly and so happy to entertain your pets personality. Had a very happy pupper after his 12wk vax's
