Great initial service when I went in to the Sydney Rd Brunswick store, Mauro was a great help so I placed a order for the turntable I wanted. But after that my experience when them wasn't so good it was over a week I heard nothing about my order. I rang left a message no one called back. I rang again the following week only to find out that store was closed and I'd have pick from the Fitzroy store not a big deal. But I mentioned that the turntable was cheaper a Melbourne hi-fi by 70 and would they price match. I was told no because if I had taken to unit home I wouldnt be asking for a price match. I said yes that's true but I haven't taken ownership yet as you didn't have it in stock. He continued to debate with me and said rudely he'll ask, I then ask well can I just cancel it I was told no or they would with hold 20% of what I'd payed. When I went to pick the unit up there was no price match discussed. I was also told by Mauro, that he'd set up and test the unit before I left the store. As he was not there when I pick it up I mentioned what he said to me and one of the guys give me a quick 20sec run through on how to do it on another turntable, but not mine...... So it was not tested. Thank you Mauro for your service but I will not be shopping there again.

Fantastic products and great knowledge by store staff. Couldn’t be happier with the product I bought from them. It’s also worth having a look at what they have done upstairs.

Very disappointing experience. I asked questions regarding speaker cable only to receive patronizing and unhelpful feedback to the point where I felt the best thing to do was just walk out. Disappointing as I've spent decent money through the Brunswick St store setting up a HiFi system in the past. Will no longer continue to support this company.

I was surprised by my experience at the shop considering this place has a good rating. I went in asking if there were any records from a specific artist to which I was told by the worker to 'have a look as i'm not sure whats there'. So I looked through a couple of rows when the worker later asked if I had found anything and laughed at me, then stating he could look it up on the system instead (which is what I asked for him to do in the first place). He then told me he didn't have anything and didn't apologise. Found him to be very rude and not friendly. Very saddened by my experience there as I was a happily paying customer!
Haven't got anything yet but the advice and knowledge is amazing!! Be buying here for sure!!
The staff were very approachable, knowledgeable and helpful. I'd highly recommend them.
