My first experience here was very pleasant. Sad to see other locals unimpressed but I guess I just got lucky! We were served quickly by a friendly server and they were patient with us deciding on what we wanted since their menu has a great variety - all sound delicious. I got the salmon one with cream cheese and avocado in poppy seeds bagel. DELICIOUS. So so filling and I’ll happily pay a bit more for someone to make me a fresh bagel. Love that it’s cut in half for you too (photo is of half of one I ordered) Filling can be a lot so expect it to fall out but that’s just bagels right? Also really love the basil oil. Wish they did espresso coffee too but there’s plenty of good cafes nearby.

I was pretty excited to check this place out. Brunswick has great back alley, hole in the wall, ‘secret’ cafes and shops. This is not one of them. I received attitude for not being able to identify the different bagel types when asked which I wanted. Pointing or saying “this one here” wasn’t enough for the lady serving us. Not sure what we’d done to deserve this. Maybe she was hung over from the night before or she was questioning her life’s choices working on a Sunday afternoon when the sun was out. Either way, not the most professional approach. It also seemed that there was a higher priority in sweeping and tidying up, rather than making our order and the others who had come after us. When we finally received our order, the bagels were burnt, and clearly not fresh as advertised. Not worth the attitude, cost and long wait for for a couple of average bagels. You’re better off going to Union Street Brewers for a cheaper and better bagel until Mile End Bagels can sort their lives out.
Delicious bagels! Ordered online and it was ready super quick. They even let me swap for the cashew cream cheese. Perfect little takeaway lunch spot and happy to know I can finally get some good bagel sandwiches in Brunswick! The chili oil was 10/10 as well.
Hard, cardboard-like bagels and one of those places in Melbourne which claims to accept only card payments and then charges you extra for doing so (in an especially insidious fashion by placing the card tapper high up on the counter where you cant see it). Do not bother.
Very ordinary freshly made bagel sandwiches that is on the expensive side for a street side back alley shop. It's a sandwich that you can make 5 bagels from Woolies for the price of 1 here.
Great little hole in the wall for some amazing Bagels with each different bagel I have tried has been amazing and the fillings are perfect definitely recommend the salmon, red onion and cream cheese and the brisket pastrami
These bagels...wow. The egg one is so good I rarely try anything else. Highly recommend!
Great bagels, service is a little on the slow side
