Jos did such an amazing job on our renovation, he was clever and thoughtful in his design which in the end, saved us money and actually got a better outcome overall. His thoughtful and considered approach to fittings also meant the finish is amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to anyone. He also provided real guidance and support through the construction phase as project manager which also assisted us immensely as the build progressed.

Jos did the drawings for a small renovation of our house, to knock down a wall and put in some big north facing windows. The Reno is fantastic, we love it. And jos was excellent to work with. He's just really good at listening to what you want... And turning that into lovely simple architecture that works.
I have worked with Jos from Jos Tan Architects on multiple jobs now and as a builder I would have to say I have never come across an architect with the ability to achieve what the client desires in a way that considers making everything as smooth as possible for the client and the builder. This, I believe takes much experience and intent on keeping all parties happy without affecting an amazing outcome. A testament to his skill and character. I've worked on and off with Jos since 2004 and have always been impressed with his working manner. Beyond his creativity and ability, Jos has been ever the professional; open and easy to talk to, good communicator, able to work around problems and search for solutions on both sides of opinion.
