Lots of history and a great visit. Could do with a small local government injection of funds to bolster this tourist hot spot even more. Note the opening time of 10am.
Museum is a gem. Good interaction. We loved it. Volunteers should be proud of the work well done.
Surprisingly good hidden gem of Carnarvon. We had planned to be there for 15 mins and ended up being there for hours. Lots of interesting space facts and related science. Lots of Instagram moments. Gift shop also worth a look.
Loved this place! Was my favourite thing in Carnarvon So much information. Lots of hands on stuff and viewings. I'd definitely recommend going ! I will be going back next time
Only museum I have been to where you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee Great idea Volunteers super helpful as well Plenty of exhibits and interactive things to do. Covering 50 years of NASA and Carnarvon a role in space communication. Kids loved it and we had fun (plus a cup of tea). Plenty of memorabilia.
If you're into the history of space travel, you must visit this place. Amazing display of artifices dating back to the early days of space flight. Amazing to find out about the involvement of Carnarvon in both the Gemini and Murcury missions. The space shuttle flight simulator is great fun as are the retro video games. Staff are very helpful. Highly recommend.
So much history here, take your time and soak it all up. Well worth the stop in Carnarvon alone!!!!
