Very solemn and very quiet and nice place to pray.

A humbling place to visit. The 'mother of pearl' wall with Our Lady (in the side chapel) is a lovely corner to sit and pray, or just sit and rest, while taking in its beauty. The "Icon of Our Lady and Baby Jesus" (completed by a visiting Ukranian Priest) sits near the altar, highlighting Mary's importance in our Catholic Faith and in our Cathedral.

Never saw this place when I lived in Broome, wish I had. The pearl shell altar is very beautiful. Otherwise it's a church.
