Easy to get in and WOW they have full body scanners and people like me do not need to take off any jewellery or shoes to try to stop setting off alarm with fake hip! How cool is that! Nice space. A few shops including tourist and pearl items as well as local paintings, photos and clothing. Lots of space including inside and out and there is an air conditioned seating area to wait in.

I stopped here to refuel on the way to Newman after a few days in One Arm Point. I called ahead and made arrangements with the ARO for fuel. very helpful. the Air BP truck was awesome and there was practically no waiting.

Broome International Airport had recently undergone some renovation and extensions and has a good look, but needs more shops, so that the customers can have a good shopping experience while they are in the airport.

Arrived with no problems, quick baggage turnover and exit. Parking seems good.

Quick and simple, arrived an hour before our flight departed. Checked in easily had a quick look in the 2 air conditioned stores then had a short warm humid wait at gate 1 to then be moved to gate 2 (luckily this Gate has a/c). Boarding was funny, 3 pre boarding calls, 8 boarding rows 17-21 calls... Then 3 remaining rows 1-21 calls RUN RUN RUN... very pleasant overall in these challenging covid times having to wear those masks and keeping them on is difficult at times but we all did it and had a wonderful stay in Broome.

Good that there's a basic food and beverage outlet (Nakamura's) opened on Christmas Day. There's a souvenir shop for your last minute shopping. Clean ablution blocks. Sit inside the boarding gate waiting area. It's too noisy with planes revving up engines if you sit in the eating area (and it's too loud and scary for most sensitive young kids).
