A truely magical experience with so much history being told of the first Jews to arrive in the city and how the story is explainednin the most beautiful stained glass widow set all round the Rabbi is very welcoming to all that come to visit and take part in the services. The atmosphere is euphoric and lively and everyone sings and takes part. So much history need to go back to explore again.

He says, are you Jewish David. I ought to say... Rebbe! I am no judge of things Jewish. Who will we consult? Parsher vaishaieva

A beautiful building and an ancient race of God fearing people with a long colourful history, it is only because of the Hebrews that we have the Holy Bible.

Welcoming and informative if you don't know what it means to be Jewish. You must apply on their website for a security check on your ancestry and criminal background. This might be because self sufficiency is part of the faith and as a result has translated into prosperity. Their community is often envied. It's a precautionary measure against attacks, as well as to check that you are not a decendant of world war perpetrators or exile defectors. What's in your name? A lot. You can't cover it with a gilded frame. I forgive you family JLL, By now, you know me quite well. What should I buy? Maybe a pie in the sky? Don't ask me why. I am French, English and German. The German side fled Germany to escape Hitler's regime because they didn't agree with it. If you are a linguist, multi faith believer then this is the visit for you. You can still hear in Hebrew, emotion in tone of voice and try to understand expression through gestures and body language. Also interesting for architecture enthusiasts. The wedding book on the bookshelf on the upper level where women observe & listen to the service is very scary. That's because everything in it is mega expensive. I like cartoons, and it's almost as though the book has me in mind. Before the Friday 6pm service a man who knew about the Synagogue Service (Letter S, "SSSS" sound serpent in Bvlgari I said. The sales consultant said "It's not that scary")(Jewish families are often luxury jewelry designers) proceedings infused the word "Bride" into more than a few of his spoken sentences when explaining the events that will follow in future weeks. Oh my goodness. (Last sentence here, just joking)
