Dr Shields is a fabulous orthodontist, very experienced and knowledgeable who takes his time to explain all the options and details upfront - no surprises! Dr Shields the eldest orthodontist at the Brisbane city practice is really rough, abrupt and rude. All the other staff are friendly and considerate but he always rushes through with extreme roughness and little to no care to answer simple queries or be gentle. I think he should consider another career or retirement. The other orthodontists are what keeps the business going!

Highly recommend Shine Orthodontics. Brendan Fitzpatrick is a fab orthodontist, and all of the staff I have met and spoken to are genuinely lovely, welcoming and happy to help. They are accommodating with appointments and helpful with my little baby while I'm in the chair.
