My experience was exceptional from the first telephone contact with his reception staff, to the initial consult, surgery and my post op follow up. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dr Mackay for both his surgical prowess and his professional and caring manner. Dr Mackay you are a one in a million specialist, that "see" their patients as real people and for that I am grateful. I can understand why your staff and Brisbane Private Hospital love working with you. I hope I don't need to get my other carpal tunnel done, but if I do, I will be coming back to you! What a great guy! After discussions with a few other providers Cameron just stood out from the crowd. Professional, empathic and highly skilled. I had major reservations about Bilateral Carpal Tunnel Surgery but wanted it over with and didn't want to do them one at a time with the wait in between. Following the initial consultation I went ahead with both. Now just two weeks on and my hands are better than they have been for months and I am sleeping way better that I can remember. Thanks again Cameron.

I recently had surgery, Carpel Tunnel, with Dr Cameron Mackay, his bedside manner and professionalism were very reassuring. Dr Mackay came highly recommended by a close friend and that recommendation was definitely justified. My surgery was completely and almost immediately successful. I have now booked in to have my other hand fixed. I would happily recommend Dr Mackay to anyone. One year on - - I had my other hand surgery some time ago, this time carpel tunnel and a trigger finger release, both were as successful as the first. Very happy with the end result Repeat offender - I have again had reason to visit Dr Mackay, this time for the removal of a Basal Cell Carcinoma from my left forearm and another more delicately positioned above the tendons of my right hand. I'm happy to report both removals were successful and are healing nicely. Again Thanks to Dr Mackay and his lovely and efficient staff who made the whole ordeal run smoothly.
