The first time I went there (in January), I was suitably unimpressed, mainly due to the exceptionally high trade prices. But I had another look this month when I was back in town and, even though I wouldn't buy a trade there if my life depended on it, the service provided in helping me find some current monthly issues was top notch. Definitely needs better signage out the front, though - I thought they'd moved and weren't there anymore so I nearly didn't go up the stairs!

Never open, I think they have closed down for good. No new stock for even standing orders since march when I last saw them open months ago. edit: i just checked the door, the landlord has taken possession.
Excellent range of comics and trades. One thing I love is that they charge the American cover price for their product instead of converting to AUD which is not something I have come across at like stores. You can really tell the staff are into their jobs which always translates into great service.
Ignore the posted trading hours, this place only opens when it feels like it. Last week I attempted to go there 3 times, each time it was closed. On one of these 3 days I went there during lunch and there was a note that said 'on break'. I get that everyone needs to have lunch, but being located in the city, surely they realise this is peak time for customers? Sort it out.
My friend and I walked to Daily Planet comic book store at 9:30am and they weren't open we then came back at 10:30am and they weren't open. After two hours we decided to have one last try and they were open. They had decent comics that weren't up to date and terrible service, when we asked why they opened so late? The man serving us just said "Oh I just slept in." and shrugged it off. I asked around and heard that this happens often. I mean come on this is just a terrible attitude to one of the coolest jobs of all time. I don't know how this has 4.8 stars, frankly it was just terrible.
Decent selection of manga, they don't restock the majority of the first & second volumes.
can't find what you are looking for..try this store, new owner is much better.. they got lots of stocks & good services too....best comics store in Brisbane.
A very large selection of comics, manga and figures. Seems reasonably well priced. Manga and some of the comics are still in the plastic!
