I can't thank Mr Craig Van Der Hoven enough. He has represented me on several matters now. I couldn't be happier. Gave solid, helpful and clear advice on process and possible outcomes. Made me feel confident that he is actually on your side. On every matter I have found myself before the court and needing representation, Mr Van Der Hoven with the help of the team at Creevey Russell Lawyers argued my case successfully and I have been left smiling (And free to walk out of the court room). I can also recommend their Family Law Senior Associate Vivianne Tonscheck. Her straightforward advice on your best path whilst navigating the emotionally charged, draining and complicated processes when dealing with Family Law Is in my opinion the only reason I have all 3 of my children living with me. She told me what I needed to do and/or change in my approach (which is always hard when dealing with ex partners) and if you follow her advice i believe you will have the best possible outcome. Michael Burrows represented me in a minor criminal matter. We had a bail application before the Magistrates court, so paid him 2,000. He insisted that he should be paid a further 5,000 in the event that bail was refused, and we had to go to Supreme Court. Little did I know at that time that Magistrates don't have the power to alter a Supreme Court Bail order. Burrows knew this when he asked for the extra money. It was never going to the Supreme Court. Never did see that money again. When asked, he said ' that has been consumed by me reading the material." Seriously. Burrows is typical of his profession. Con man plain and simple.

I called Michael Burrows, Creevey Russell's so called 'criminal specialist' for a bail application for my brother. He was paid more than 3k in cash before he would even look at the paperwork. Once he was paid, the application was heard in Brisbane Court. He failed to raise some of the most important issues and bail was refused. Burrows put in no effort at all. It was like he was working with the police to keep Jim in prison before trial. Avoid this guy at all costs
