We had an amazing experience here with our child. Surgery outcomes were more than we could ever expect and all staff were kind and friendly.

Had a botched hand surgery here. Was told to repeat it but couldn't go through with it again as it impaired my work after having spent 6 weeks working with one hand as instructed. Not happy and definitely wouldn't return.

I don’t normally write reviews, but after reading the only other review I couldn’t help myself. I’m sure Professor Coombs’ reputation hasn’t been damaged by the only other review but I’d just like to say this: I had hand surgery in the UK for duprytens contracture 10 years ago which I would say was successful however I was not treated even close to as well as I was at Southern Plastic Surgery. In the UK I had the surgery, (10 months after being referred incidentally). on The morning of the surgery at a hospital in south London just before my anaesthetic I had to listen to two surgeons arguing in front of me , one saying “we should proceed” the other saying “no we shouldn’t proceed” as you can imagine that boosted my confidence about the kind of care I was in. Then I had one , yes only one aftercare visit to a therapist for 1/2 an hour when they gave me some advice on exercises and made me a splint to wear at night. My recent experience at Southern Plastic Surgery however has been professional, caring, thorough and most of all effective. From the beginning the procedure was explained, the options for alternative procedures explained, the risks, the recovery time, I have had my splint altered to aid recovery, silicon pads to soften scar tissue, ultra sound treatment to soften scar tissue, exercise advice to speed up recovery, and advice on what to do and when to take action in the event of symptoms of the disease recurring (which it inevitably will as it is an incurable disease). So thank you to Professor Coombs and his lovely team from the anaesthetist, co-surgeon, nurse, therapists, and receptionists. I don’t particularly want to see you all again soon but if I have to I will have every confidence in all of you.
