Not having been here for well over 12 months I cannot describe the disappointment in this venue. As a table of six we ordered together, one order from the starters which was requested to come with the mains. After a few drinks the beeper went off. We ventured to collect the the meals only to find the duck rolls and no mains . The not so nice man blamed Paula for not putting the order through correctly and virtually there was nothing we could do about it . It was a long wait before very sub standard meals appeared. The prawns for my salad arrived unceremoniously in a small bowl after I asked for them. Other tables arrived and ordered after ours, one in fact had two sittings. Front of house staff did their best but I feel the problem lies behind the kitchen door. Thank you Paula and your co worker.

Fantastic food and very relaxed atmosphere
Went there tonight with 6 people and was very disappointed. We waited for nearly an hour for cold food. I ordered the Mediterranean pasta and pretty cold when I got it. The cheese on top was thick slices that had dried out. My sister got the avocado salad add grilled chicken, it was all stone cold, was missing ingredients, the corn chips were stale and the server didn't even know what it was. My mum got the market fish and while the fish was great, the vegetables were cold and the peas were old and dried out. My dad ordered the beef rissoles and the vegetables were also cold. We also got garlic bread which was hardly cooked and soggy.
People starving because people aren’t getting food this is just a waste of time sitting here hoping for food Tuesday night half price special and pay full price get served p.s here is some advice don’t go to Charles on Tuesday night but if you do enjoy starving
